So we have been doing this new CIO (cry it out) sleeping thing with Whitnee. For the most part it's been going pretty good, she's only cried for as long as 10 min at a time. Those 10 min seem like forever to me and my heart. It's not a hurt cry so I know she's ok but it's a mommy I miss you cry and it breaks my heart. I know it'll be good for her in the long run but it eats me up. I just know that I've got to be able to put her to bed and let her sooth her self to sleep before Ami has Ellie and I have both of them home during the day.
We got Whitnee's ear pierced on Sat. She did so good! She was such a big girl! I really dont think she cried, it seemed as if she just went straight to freak out mode. She did so good though and looks soo cute!
I'm so excited Michael and I bought season passes to White Water and Silver Dollar City. I'm looking forward to taking Whitnee there this summer and then to Silver Dollar City to see Santa, and the lights. Growing up we never got to really take family vacations so that's one thing I want to be able to do with Whitnee but the rest of our kids as they come.
Whitnee is also starting to stand with out help.. makes me soo proud but so sad all at the same time. It's so hard to believe that she will be 10 months in just a week, where has the time gone? I've really been thinking lately how blessed my life really is! God has truely blessed me with an amazing family! Not just Michael and Whitnee but everone! How many 23yr olds can say that they are for the most part debt free except for a house, they have a fantastic husband and a wonderful daughter that she will get to stay home with full time because her husband knows it's a dream of hers? Now all I have to do is work towards that degree of mine in education. Then I'll be even more set. I just trust that if that's what in God's will for me it'll happen on His time, not my own.
Yet agian let me express how ready I am for spring! Ready for sandles capris, windows up and rolled down in the car. Spring also means I'll be home with Whitnee. I'm really excited I found out that the Bentonvill Library does a baby "reading" class they have "story time" then play with bubbles ect. They also have a toddler class, so I'll be able to take Whitnee to that and get to meet other SAHM (stay at home mom).
Well that's enough for now. Good night
