One Month Of Potty Training!!

Isn't it that they say it takes 28 days to start a break a habit? If so we have started the habit of going potty. She hasn't had an accident in a while, I can't even remember when it was. Whitnee is also going poop in the potty very well. I'm so proud of her!

Sat we took at 2 hr rode trip to Branson to go to Silver Dollar City, I was really worried about her going to the potty and thinking she had to go every 2 min when we were driving, well she only had to go once on the way, never had an accident in the park and went in the potty there, and then didn't have to go on our way home 'cause she fell asleep. She was so good while in the park, I'm so thankful to have a kid that doesn't mind being outside and is so good. People keep telling me it's how we parent her, but I also think it's 'cause she LOVES being outside. God has truely blessed Michael and I with an amazing little girl.

I am however ready for our Princess who went to bed easy to come back, since we started potty training and not letting her go to bed with her cup she has been a beast to put to bed at night. She has wanted to be rocked and as much as I want to I want to be able to spend time with my hubby as well LOL that and she wants me to hold her hand. So I hold her hand and sing her one song, then she goes to bed screaming. :(  I'm praying it's just her age 'cause she has become waaaayyy independent here recently as well.. I think we have hit the terrable 2's and she is trying to see what we will let her get away with and what she can't do.

This is going to be a longg week, it's the week of VBS I'm excited though 'cause Whitnee has her own class this year :D I hope she is good for the teacher. We shall see.

Day Book 0721

From my pictures... the amazing quilt Michael's mom is making Whintee for her big girl bed. I wanted to get new bedding for Whitnee when we move her to a big girl bed, well I couldn't ever find one that I liked, so Michael's mom offered to make Whitnee a quilt and I'm so happy with how it's turning out, her and I picked out the patteren and I helped pick out the fabric but she has done the rest and it's looking AMAZING!!

Outside my window.. guess what it's still hot.. LOL It's 100 without the heat index so I can only imagine what it is with the heat index.

I am thinking.. that I can't wait for my dad, Tiffany, and Desi to be here.. it's exactly 3 weeks from today.

I am thankful... for the little things

A Few plans for the rest of the week... tomorrow night we are going out for Brit's Batchlorette party, and then Sat we are going to Silver Dollar City with Brian and Stevie... it's going to be a hot one but I"m excited!

Pondering these words.... Many will say they are loyal friends, but who can find one who is truly reliable? Proverbs 20:6   I can honestly say I have found at a handful of really good friends, and they are even reliable.. at least half of them hahaha :D

Gentry Zoo, Cloth Diapers, Guys and Dolls, 2 weeks of Potty Training

The title of this blog pretty much sums up my weekend. It was a very busy one. Friday late morning early afternoon we went to the Gentry Zoo, Whitnee loved it and even touched the snake, something I will not do. So the Gentry Zoo is a 4 mile drive through zoo, and then you can get out and pet some animals. Stevie went with us so Whitnee was able to sit in her lap and enjoy the ride even better. Hailey sat in the back and was my picture taker. Here a couple of pics from our trip

Sat Stephen and Chas invited me to go to a cloth diaper class with them, Michael and I have talked about doing cloth diapers with our next kid. I was like 95% sure that I wanted to do it but just had a couple doubts in my mind, well after gong to the class I have no doubt in my mind that's what we are going to do next time. It's going to be a great money saver!

Later Sat night I went to dinner and to see Guys and Dolls with Ami, her birthday is this month, and that's what we did to celebrate it, it was nice to get out just us girls and the show was AMAZING!

Today markes the 2nd week of potty training, we havn't had any problems with going pee, she hasn't had any accidents in some time, however she did have a poop accident this morning. :( I think it just kinda came and she didn't make it to the potty. I've moved the potty into the bathroom where it's suppose to be so that may be part of the problem. The bathroom isn't to far away but I think she was use to it being right there closee when she needed it. All in all I'm so proud of her and I'm not expecting her to be perfect all the time.

This week is hopefully going to be pretty laid back for us.. since we had Hailey last week I wanna lay low this week at home and get us back in our groove. :D I however we be seeing Harry Potter at midnight and I'm soo excited! All in all it's going to be a great week I'm sure!

A few plans for the week.. Thursday will be pretty lazy around the house gotta clean, maybe go swimming at a friends, depends on the princess's mood, Friday we are having friends over and then Saturday I'm going to see Guys and Dolls with Ami YAY! Her birthday is this month and that's what we are doing to celebrate!

One Week, and Happy 4th!

Well we have been in big girl panties for one week! I'm so proud of our Princess! She is all but potty trained she will go by herself but if she hasn't been for a while I still ask her if she needs to go. She went yesterday at church for the teacher so that's a good sign. Tonight for the 4th we are going to watch fireworks with the people from our church and we will be bring our potty with us, and hopefully she wont be to distracted to not wanna go pee. Also she is soo afraid of the fireworks LOL afraid to look at them or see them.. soo tonight should be interesting.. i'm going to bring a blanket to cover her up with and see if that helps. Her Uncle Daniel is gonna be there as well so maybe that will help her be ok. She is so silly. I again am so beyond proud of her and can't belive our baby girl is wearing big girl panties.. I am however so excited to be able to save that money we were spending on diapers!

No Accidents!

Whitnee went all day yesterday with no accidents! We even went to a friends house and she potty in her potty over there. YAY!! I'm so proud of her! She's such a big girl! I'm worried about Monday, not becuase of her but because of me. LOL We are going to the "farm" for fireworks, some people in our church have land and they have fellowhip and fireworks. Well we will bring her potty with us and when you gotta go, you gotta go. LOL it should be interesting. :D That's all I have to report for now. I'm so proud of her!

Day Book 07/01

Outside my window.. It's hot and humid! Hello summer time

I am thinking... that I'm excited about pizza for dinner tonight. haha I've been craving pizza and we are going to some friends house tonight and that's what is for dinner. YAY!

I am thankful.. for a smart Princess, she has made potty training easy

From the kitchen.. it's for the most part clean, just need to unload the dish washer and reload the couple of dishes

I am remember.. that the last Harry Potter will be in theatures in 14 days. soooo excited!!

I am going... to some friends house tonight, for some swimming and fellowship

Night 4 Day 5 and News Not About Potty Training

Well day 4 went well, she did go pee pee in her panties once. :( I'm not going to be to upset that she is still having accidents, hey we've only been at this for 5 days now. :D she is doing so well though, going when she needs to. She also was dry when we got up this morning! YAY! I feel like my life is tired around this potty chair. LOL I afraid to go any where to far, I want to go to the 4th of July Parade in one of the towns close to here, but I'm afraid she will have to go potty in during it and won't make it to the potty. So I guess for now we will keep our outings to a minumium. Day 5 has just started, and she was dry this morning and went pee pee when she woke up. YAY!

Wanna hear news that's not about potty training? We are going to the rodeo tomorrow night and I'm so excited! I've never been to the rodeo so I'm beyond excited! Stevie's step mom got 4 tickets at work and is letting them have them, so they invited us to go. I'm so excited about our double date night. It's going to be fun! I'm also excited about the food.. LOL :D

It's going to be a busy holiday weekend for us, but it should be fun. Hope you all have a safe and happy 4th!
