Getting Caught up

Wow it's been way to long since my last post, so let me get everyone caught up. On Easter Sunday we had a a new pastor and his family come to our church and preach in view of a call. The following Sunday we welcomed him in as our new Sr. Pastor.  I'm so excited to see what God is going to do through him. We have gotten the opportunity to speak with him about his vision for our church and if we are all willing God will be doing GREAT things!

On Easter Sunday we went to Michael's parents house and celebrated with them. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Our little family. I love Whitnee's silly cheese. :D

Whitnee and her Aunt Kisa. Pretty sure that is Chocolate on Whitnee's face. :D

We then got to dye Eggs. This was the first year Whitnee got to do it. She was a pro and even did it double handed. :D

The finished product. We then took them outside and hid them so Whitnee could find them.

A couple weeks back we took a trip to the Gentry Zoo. It's a great drive thru zoo that also has a petting zoo. Well Whitnee LOVES going and I see us going a lot this summer! We of course had to take a friend with us!

We also went to the Razorback Red and White Game. I love going to this every year because it's family friendly and free! Whitnee got to dance with the big blow up Hog, and one of the majorettes. It was he sweetest thing ever! She was so excited!

She also got to give loven to Sooie, so thankful she isn't afraid of the people dressed up as things! She LOVES them!

And then of course loven had to be given to Pork Chop.

So we have been a busy family but isn't that what spring and summer is all about? We are so blessed to be able to get out and do things like this as a family! We are looking forward to going to Branson this Sat as a family, it'll be the first time Whitnee has gone this season and I'm excited 'cause she should be tall enough to ride some rides she wasn't able to ride last year! We are also going with some friends. It's going to be a great weekend! I will try and do better about keeping the blog updated that way the next time it's not so long. :D I hope you all are enjoying the spring and I'm looking forward to summer!

Day Book 0319

From my pictures... Whitnee at the park. The weather has been sooo nice that Whitnee and I have gotten out and about ever day last week. This week however is rainy they are expecting 3+ inches of rain in the next couple of days

Outside my window...... it's dark and I see lighting ever once and a while

I am thinking.... about what God has in store for our little family. With the thoughts of expanding our family, and just other stuff that He is sturring in our hearts.

I am thankful..... that God is always there. He is going to send us in the right direction as long as we trust him

From the kitchen....I need to load the dishwasher... boo

I am creating..... nothing at the moment

I am remembering.... to be patient with Whitnee.

I am going...... to see the Hunger Games this week soo excited! If you havn't read the books I recommend you do, they are so goo!

I am reading..... Pretty Little Liars book 6

I am hoping.... that God gives us a clear answer on what and when

I am hearing...... Whitnee in the bath. She sure does love it!

Around the house.... we have a slide in the living room. HAHA Whitnee wanted to go outside and play today but with the rain we just couldn't and well with the rain coming in for the next couple of days I was hoping it would help her understand we can't go out, and keep her entertained.

One of my favorite things.... being a mommy! I love when Whitnee wakes up and looks at me and tells me good morning. :D

Pondering these words...... no words in my head right now :D

A few plans for the rest of the week.....today was my besties birthday so hopefully we can go out and celebrate tomorrow, then tomorrow is my moms birthday so we are taking her to dinner on Wednesday. Thursday I'm going to see The Hunger Games and then Friday night we get to go to Michaels parents house. It's a busy week for us.
